Sardinia is one of the best diving destinations in the Meditteranean. With a number of wrecks dotted around the island, and a vast array of caves and grottos just waiting to be explored, Sardinia is home to morays, lobsters, conger eels, stone fish, barracudas, octopus, crabs, lots of nudibranches and large schools of groupers. The area features pristine waters and amazing visibility and interesting swim throughs with enormous granite rocks, wrecks, caves, overhangds and densely populated drop offs however, sightings of large species are limited. The dive centres which operate from the northern tip of Sardinia take divers out on excursions along the coast and to the Maddalena Archipelago National Park which is one of the Meditteranean's best marine reserves and features some of the best dive sites in the world. The wide shallow areas between the islands are no deeper than 70 metres and make Sardinia particularly great for macro photography and sightings of crustaceans and beautiful corals and sponges.
More than 40 dive sites, consisting of sheltered islands and islets, can be visited around the coast of northern Sardinia and the Maddalena Archipelago National Park and the Lavezzi Marine Reserve which is nestled between Corsica and Sardinia and is known for its huge blocks of granite.

Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development via e-learning self-study or in a classroom at the dive school) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
- Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills. You’ll complete a total of five confined water sessions (pool or calm shallow open sea) where you’ll learn the basics of scuba diving and build your confidence.
- Open Water Dives. The four open water dives allow you to demonstrate the skills that you have learned during your pool modules in safe natural environment.
More and more dive centre across the world now require the 'theory' part of the PADI Open Water Course to be complete prior to starting a course in resort, this is referred to as an 'e-learning PADI Open Water Course. Once we have you booked in for your course you will need to follow the e-learning theory course work via the PADI website, prior to arrival. Then when you get to resort, the instructor can focus on the more practical side of the training over a 3-4 day period.

Description :
Diver certification begins here. Start with PADI's online eLearning course (not included or classroom theory training). Move to the pool and practice your new skills. Then experience four open water (ocean/lake) dives. During the PADI Open Water Diver course, you’ll learn what you need to know to explore the underwater world using scuba.
The PADI Open Water Diver course includes three parts: Knowledge Development, Confined Water Dives, and Open Water Dives. Knowledge Development covers the principles, concepts and terms you need to know for dive safety and enjoyment. During the Confined Water Dives, you learn and practice scuba skills in a pool or water with pool-like conditions. You’ll enjoy making one or more minidives, which take you through the same steps you follow when you make open water dives. To complete training you practice, apply, and demonstrate what you learn during four Open Water Dives at a local dive site.
Earning a PADI Open Water Diver certification shows that you met the course requirements. Dive centers and resorts require proof of certification before they will rent scuba equipment, fill scuba cylinders or book dive excursions. As a PADI Open Water Diver, you’ll be trained to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet, and are qualified to dive in conditions as good as, or better than, those in which you trained. It’s just the beginning of a lifetime filled with dive adventures.
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.
Description :
PADI’s Junior Open Water Diver course is similar to the adult certification program and prepares kids to become full-fledged divers when they are of age. Students as young as 10 years old can utilize the eLearning program Open Water Diver course online (minimum age requirements may be higher in some locations due to local laws and regulations). This course allows kids to get their first PADI scuba certification. Children can learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures, or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts.
The PADI Junior Open Water Course is typically run over four days and is a fun-filled course designed to qualify kids to dive to a maximum depth of 12m. The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible. Kids get to learn to breathe underwater for the first time (something they’ll never forget) and learn what they need to know to become a certified diver. During the course, children will first train in the pool and then get to explore wondrous reefs, under the supervision of a PADI Instructor.
The PADI Junior Open Water Course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge development to understand basic principles of scuba diving.
- Confined water dives (pool training) to learn basic scuba skills.
- Open water dives to review skills and explore!
In the PADI Junior Open Water Course, children will learn to use basic scuba gear and standard accessories.
Description :

PADI offers a variety of home-study materials for the PADI Open Water Diver course - Elearning or PADI Open Water Manual and DVD package. With the Elearning option, your child will complete more of the home study before the course and will spend less time in the classroom. The Elearning also includes their final PADI Open Water certification card which will save you buying it on holiday for £30 - 50.
Description :
Can’t decide whether to get your scuba certification while on holiday or at home before you travel? With a PADI Open Water referral, you don’t have to choose. A PADI referral allows you to complete most of your scuba training at home and finish your certification dives anywhere in the world. Avoid studying during your vacation and support your local dive shop at the same time.
Becoming a certified diver has three phases: Phase one: knowledge development, Phase two: confined water, Phase three: open water. With an open water referral, you’ll complete some or all of the two phases (knowledge development and confined water) before leaving home. You can finish the final part of your scuba course, the open water dives, anywhere in the world. The final portion of the course typically takes a day and a half to complete.
To put it another way, instead of spending 4-5 days on your holiday studying and practicing skills in a pool, you’ll arrive with the majority of your open water course done. Once certified, you can spend the rest of your time exploring with your dive buddy and gaining additional dive experience.
An open water referral is valid for up to 12 months, but it’s better to complete your training as soon as possible (while your knowledge and skills are still fresh). Your local PADI Instructor will fill out an official student referral form and check off which skills you’ve completed and the date. You can give this form to any PADI Instructor worldwide and pick up where you left off. PADI eLearning allows you to start your knowledge development online, whether you plan to do a referral or complete your course from start to finish in the same place. PADI eLearning is the most popular option for knowledge development, but you can also study with a book and DVD and attend classroom sessions instead. The instructor at the receiving dive shop will have you gear up and review scuba skills in a pool (or pool-like environment) before taking you to open water. If you have any questions or aren’t feeling comfortable, let the instructor know.
With a PADI referral course, you can take as much time as you need to complete your knowledge development and pool work. You won’t feel rushed or like you’re “cramming” for a test. You’ll also support the nice people at your local dive shop and become part of your local diving community.
What are the disadvantages of an open water referral? Sometimes students allow too much time to pass before finishing their course. You can take up to a year to complete your certification, but it’s better to complete your knowledge development and pool training as close to your holiday as possible. Also, you’ll probably end up using different brands of diving gear. If you’ve gotten comfortable with a certain gear configuration, using different gear can be an adjustment – just like riding someone else’s bike or borrowing someone’s car. It’s basically the same, but the handling and placement of certain things will be unfamiliar at first.
Description :
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver is designed to improve your underwater knowledge and skills. You can enroll immediately after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification regardless of your skill level. After completing your eLearning, you’ll make five Adventure Dives: a deep dive (beyond 18m/60F), a navigation dive, and three additional Adventure Dives of your choice to earn your certification.

Porto Pollo is the windiest point in Sardinia, winds can blow up to Force 8 and over. A huge bay offers plenty of space for beginners and the more experienced. The beach here can be quite narrow, so beginner training is done from small boats out in the bay where there is space. The dunes along the bay offer shelter to non-kitesurf partners looking to soak up some sun on the beach. There are also a couple of nice cafes and bars along the beach.
Description :
Kitesurfing Lessons with a personal instructor gives you the opportunity to have a 1-on-1 interaction with your instructor to help you learn at a pace that is driven by you. The Learn To Kitesurf course aims to get you riding, while also teaching you how to read the conditions and utilise your equipment safely and correctly. You will then move on to the board lessons. What does that mean? Well it is time to get up on the board now. You will practice using the kite to generate pull and you will learn how to get the kite to pull you without the board first. The idea is to get used to how the kite behaves when asked to pull you. Once confident doing this you will learn how to put the board on your feet and after that, how to get up on the board. Most people will manage to do a few metres on the board by the end of the course.
Description :
Semi-Private lessons are a maximum of 2 students per instructor, meaning fast progression. The lessons include all equipment and are designed to take you from total beginner to up and riding. We normally suggest at least 10 hours to get the up on the board doing short runs. Lessons are normally in 2 - 3-hour sessions, but dependent on local conditions.
Description :
Group kitesurf lessons are normally around 4 students per instructor, although it can be up to 6. Full equipment is included during all beginner courses. Group lessons are great value for money and lots of fun, but if you are looking for rapid progression, we recommend upgrading to private or semi-private lessons (see other courses, or please call us for advice).
Lessons are normally taken in 2 to 3 hour sessions, but depend on the local wind and sea conditions. Some centres will shorten the hours if they have less students as they will be able to cover the same course structure in a shorter time. Lessons are dependent on local conditions.
Description :
Private 1-1 kitesurf instruction is the best and fastest way to learn to kitesurf, improve, or master a specific trick or move. Lessons are normally in 1-2 hour sessions, but you can discuss this with your personal instructor.
Description :
This service will allow you to store your kitesurf equipment at the centre, and often also includes free rescue service assuming you are riding upwind level or above.
Description :
Foilboarding, kite foiling, hydrofoil kiteboarding, foil kiteboarding - you can call it many names, but it all leads to the same discipline: riding a kite with a hydrofoil board under your feet and it allows you to kite along above the surface of the water. Kitefoil is considered the next era in kitesurfing. Learn advanced maneuvers like jumps, tacks, and gybes, take an epic foil trip along the coast, or simply learn how to foil in case you have never tried it.

A short drive from our main accommodation offers some of the best windsurfing on the island. A huge bay offers plenty of space for beginners and the more experienced. The proximity to Corsica creates a funnel effect which brings winds that blow up to 8 Beauforts and over. Due to the structure of the two bays, you can choose to surf in the protected safe conditions or risk the adventure of sailing in the channel where the waves crest as tall as a rig.
Description :
